PBHF Update
Again two meetings have taken place, at the November meeting it was agreed that the Chairman would contact Alan Wilton (TNS-DNA) about informing the K.C. on results this has now been completed.

Optigen is developing a new test for PRA in Border Collies and they want samples from any dogs that have failed the PRA eye test. This can be by swab and if anyone has had a failure they can put their swab with the package onto the US for other test.

Two people from the committee are going to do some more research into the cases of PRA in Border Collies, as there is still evidence of many failures. However it is still a requirement to test for the condition.

The final monies have now been sent to Alan Wilton for the TNS research and no further monies will be sent as the test is up and running.

The group will now be looking into other areas where we can make a difference, not only our breed, but also others in the group.

On the subject of raising funds, the calendars produced by the group have sold very well, and a re-order was agreed and these again sold well—putting more funds in the pot. It was agreed to do another calendar next year and pages are already selling out

The AGM took place and all officers were voted back on for a further term of office
